Peepaw? What kind of name is that?

No phone, no lights, no motor cars,Not a single luxury.Like Robinson Crusoe,As primitive as can be.

Have Jimbo’s parents been in this strip? I know that We have had the pleasure of seeing Rose’s mother.

Sorry… but for me, the great outdoors is the distance between my home’s back door and the car door… anything beyond that is wilderness… and “roughing it” is having to ring for room service more than once!

Meemaw and Peepaw seem to be a southern USA thing. I never heard of it until I moved to Atlanta. I am, and will always be Grandma. :)

I called my grandparents meemaw and peepaw.

Maybe that’s WHY he tells you those stories , Pasquale.

Now I feel fortunate, I only had to walk “Five” Miles!

You guys are lucky to’ve had/have a close relationship with your Grandparents.

Maybe it’s time for Jimbo to take Pasquale on an adventure. Rose can come along, and maybe Vicki will pay a visit.

Well to tell the truth we actually did walk five miles but it was level both ways but we didn’t have snow but then again we didn’t have wind chills either and boy it certainly did get cold during the winters though.

The proper term is “grandpa.”
