Don’t you love it when web sites like Townhall and Breitbart selectively report one data point in an “opinion” poll as “fact”?Note that the poll only asks if you think you or other families are better or worse off with Obamacare.Yup. That proves it. Everybody’s much worse off with Obamacare.

The facts are the overwhelming majority of people aren’t affected at all because they were before and still are covered by their employer’s health care plan.

Sadly, I doubt we’ll ever get to know true numbers on Obamacare until well after this presidency.

“Premiums went up. Deductibles went up. Less coverage. Fewer options. Higher copays. Insurance plans not being accepted by PCPs.”

True. The question remains: would this have happened even if there were no Obamacare? This doctor’s opinion: absolutely yes. The trend had already started well before the first vote was taken.

“How is it that Conservatives cannot distinguish between what is happening and what people BELIEVE is happening?”.I’m gonna guess conservatives see: higher premiums; higher copays and less coverage and think “bad”, while the left think “If it comes from Obama it HAS to be good!!!!!”

The first rule of health care is make money. The 2nd rule of health care is distract people from the first rule.

The rule is that, if fat cats spend millions on ads telling people it doesn’t work, a lot of them will fall for the lies.

Yes my “group policy” rates went up by 3%, that’s the lowest annual rise in the last 16 years! Under the previous “rules”, my average annual increase in rates was 13% every year.

Polls btw are opinions, not facts, and the facts show that millions of people ARE better off, and few are more than marginally affected negatively, and most aren’t actually affected at all.

Since Obamacare is really Romneycare – how come it was working in Romney’s home state? How come it was good enough to be COPIED by Obama? How come no-one complained at all about Romneycare – or pointed out any major faults in its method, until it became Obamacare – and the Republicans would die rather thatn ever say anything good about anything with the name “Obama attached to it?”. Oh, I just answered my own question. But of course, a poll is a poll is a poll. It tells us what people THINK. If they have been watching Fox News – of COURSE they will say they THINK it is a disaster – after all, that is what Republicans have been saying again and again. but Republicans are used to doing that. They follow the prnciple that the bigger the lie, the greater the number of people who will believe it. Proof? 20% of Americans still think Obama was born outside the USA. A similar number actually believe Obama is a Muslim. Why? because the Republicans (and Fox News)repeated these ideas again and again. Are they true? Nope; same about Obamacare being a failure. Just like WMD… so, where are they? But the entire WORLD believed that one – enough to go to war with America against Saddam. Except that it wasn’t true either; Republicans are great at propaganda… they are just useless when it comes to FACTS: Ceationism anyone? NO global warming? Evolution NOT proven? Only a Republican could believe any of that…
