At this rate, by the time she figures out how to enjoy her time alone, the kids will be back. The same thing happened when they went to summer camp for a week.

I’d love to have my old boyfriend living nearby (although I was the one who left for a better weather zone) - but I always want to live alone now, even though a house can have many hassles.
