The cartoonist’s view of the conflict is as shallow as the characters he depicts here. One side has taken great care to avoid killing civilians, both on its side and among those who are attacking it. The other side is deliberately attacking enemy civilians whenever it can reach them and shows what is at best carelessness and at worst cynical malice toward the safety of the people it purports to represent.

When you’ve been locked in a ghetto by supremely well armed “guards”, and you can’t get a job, food, water, or anything essential to life, let alone freedom, you resist.

Netanyahu and the folks should remember that. A lot of other Israelis who want to see justice, do remember, and thus have often voted against such as “Bibi”, but without success in getting a saner government.

If you ever wondered how ordinary German people stood by as millions of Jews were rounded up and exterminated, you can observe how millions today act as apologists for Israel’s behaviour toward the Palestinian people.

Israel was NOT “attacked”, without provocation. They’ve long persecuted those in Lebanon, and of course the West Bank (which is Jordan actually) and Gaza. They’ve never once seriously considered a true truce, because all international efforts recognize that Arab (not “Muslim”) control over east Jerusalem is a lynchpin Israel refuses every time to accept.

If Israel would return to the LEGAL boundaries they were granted, and STOP attacking their neighbors with impunity, like bombing Iraq and Syria, they might put their money where their mouthpieces are. It has nothing to do with being “Jews” or “Semites”, and everything to do with being abusers of human rights, with a fantastically false P.R. campaign covering for their atrocities.

It is the Israeli INTERNAL opposition to Likud and the radicals’ actions that should get more attention, and support. A sane and stable Israel DOES INDEED HAVE A RIGHT TO EXIST, but the current band of criminals running the country, do NOT.
