Global warming is somewhat of a misnomer. It creates unusual and out of season weather also, and much of the world has been experiencing a great deal of this the past few years.

If Al Gore said that the sun rose in the east, there would be people who would claim he’s wrong because they don’t like him.

No matter what is going on weather-wise in your area, when you look at the entire world, the climate is changing. Check out what NASA has to say about it. http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

The few “scientists” who say otherwise have poor credentials and at least some are funded by businesses that want to keep doing business as usual, no matter how many lives are affected.

I’m going to go out on limb here and suggest that we all stop talking about whether global warming is or isn’t; whether Obama or Palin would do a better job; etc. because as a whole we just will never agree.

I would humbly suggest that we instead begin to discuss exactly how we can peaceably divide this country because division is coming no matter what. So, we can peacefully use Goat and Rat as strawpersons for each of our sides’ arguments on division, or we can fight it out.

I, for one, would simply prefer to pack up and move to the half of it that contains the people who think like I do rather than have to participate in a civil war to decide the issue …
