Netanyahu thinks he’s Joshua, and all of Gaza is Jericho.

It seems to me that if Hamas didn’t fire hundreds of rockets at Israel every few years, there would be a lot less tension. Clearly Israel should not be required to absorb attack after attack and not take action to stop it. Unfortunately humans seem to have this built in inclination to kill each other and destroy their own economy. It is clearly a lose lose but they apparently enjoy it so much they can’t stop. Their Gods are their side so it is OK.

“It seems to me that if Hamas didn’t fire hundreds of rockets at Israel every few years, there would be a lot less tension.”Agreed. It seems to me that there’d be less tension if Israel stopped displacing the Muslims to make room for more Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

Hamas must know that firing rockets at Israel is only going to result in very minimal casualties because of the Iron Dome defense. The only explanation I can think of for their continued massive rocket attacks is to trigger Israeli counterattacks and thus prejudice world opinion against Israel. Israel is foolishly falling into this trap, while Hamas has a completely callous disregard for its own people. It must be remembered that Hamas does not want peace with Israel, but solely Israel’s complete and utter destruction.

Israel had their first fatality today, a “volunteer”, which means “combatant”, versus the hundreds of civilians Israel has killed, this time, and thousands of wounded, plus all those homes, blocks of them, along with all infrastructure in Gaza, that Israel has destroyed with bombings. This while “iron dome” protects actual occupied areas, and Hamas’ rockets are mostly blowing up empty fields.

Ain’t nobody right in this fight, in the last couple thousand years, but it does get tiresome when we take the actual “top gun oppressor” in this fight as “justified”.

“You forget, the West bank belongs to Israel. I know how about we just give New Mexico back to Mexico. yeh that will solve our own border problem.”No, I didn’t forget that Israel captured and retained the West Bank when it invaded Jordan in the 1960. That doesn’t change the fact that Israel is forcing out the preexisting inhabitants to make way for it’s own settlements. If Canada had done to my city what Israel does to the West Bank Muslims, I’d probably start launching missiles at them, too.
