Why isn’t ‘progressive’ Canada stepping in to help ? They have far more space, resources, and compassion than the USA. Canadians should be taking in all these kids.
Actually, sending the kids back would break the law signed by Bush in 2008. They need to have a hearing before you can send them back. Although I suppose since the GOP is so fond of letting Obama ignore laws, they wouldn’t raise a stink…
Congress should declare Central and South America as honorary states, numbers 51 and 52. Then no children, or adults will need to leave and come to the U.S. as they will already be in the U.S.! Funding? Well, congress can then nationalize all the oil fields of Venezuela and use the oil profits to fun all this. Problem solved!
