Voters with less maturity than your average three-year-old don’t help. They’re easily manipulated with radical rhetoric, and don’t have the patience to do their homework and search out truths.

Just when you think getting rid of Cantor would be good thing, you have him replaced by a squirrel on PCP. As bad, and childish as Boehner has gotten, who, or what, would the radical right replace him with?

In Iraq, and elsewhere, it’s interesting to see “the radical right” AND “radical left” condemning Obama, for continuing Bush policies more vociferously than where he’s diverging.

May you live in “interesting times”.

^Just a note: I’ve said dozens of times here that I also don’t like Pelosi or Reid and their failed “leadership”, but Boehner’s just gone nuts.

Phil Hands drew a very apt, poignant ’toon for the occasion. (I love the way he drew Boehner!)

The founding fathers had many deep faults also, including dramatic personal arguments. The lesson from history is great things happen when we reach compromise forged out of the fire of debate.
