And here I thought the right-wingnuts would be gloating about a safety problem with the lib-cliche Prius. What better excust to get back to montra that if you drive anything that gets more than 12MPG you’re gonna die?
Robert,
I am sure there are those who would say…”I told you so”. There is certainly a compromise when one buys a vehicle. The survivorability of a Mercedes-Benz over a Prius in an accident is evident, but for most, the expense trumps the safety.
Toyota is “embarrassed” about their safety issues. Too bad they’re not really concerned about the safety of their vehicles. I guess they are finally going to issue a recall worldwide on the Prius. It took 3 years for them to issue a recall on the accelerator problem after they knew about it.
Hmmm, makes me think about how they finally revealed with a rather cheap setup, Al Qaeda folks can take over those drones communication. The same “fly by wire” electronic controls in commercial aircraft, and military aircraft, are possibly the real problem in these cars.
Technology is not always what it’s cracked up to be?

That’s just funny. Way to bring some humour into the editorial section Jim Morin.
