The best part about Stone Soup is the month of August when Jan does “there’s something about August”.

Winters are great in Florida, but not August. At least school starts this month.

Here in KS we are having mild temps and yes we usually get 100° here. This week 90’s. Last week of freedom for school children next Tuesday back to school. There are children ready to get back.

Well, there’s four members of the family who aren’t all bent out of shape over Evie’s wedding!(Yeah, I know the Sunday strip is separate but these four are the most likely to be cool with it!)

I guess Alix anticipates school starting again for her; she isn’t reacting to the school of fish she sees directly below her.

Even the baby fish doesn’t want to be in school! It’s August, Yay!!! ;)
