It all depends on the kind of vegetable. I will not eat green beans, peas or spinache.

Guess I was lucky. Mom served all sorts of vegetables as Dad was a green grocer, and obviously did them well as I enjoyed all vegs. Was the only one I knew who liked spinach. One caveat – and luckily he didn’t bring it home – hate okra to this day!

This would be funnier if it hadn’t been stated so blatently, so spot-on.

If my memory serves me correctly, you own and operate a small print shop. Over at Dick Tracy, there is a small town newspaper in the hands of a villain! Yesterday, the artist depicted a type case set out on a slanted work bench in one of the panels. Thought you might be interested.

I come from a foster family where all the vegetables where either covered in cheese, deep fried, or slathered in cream. Since age 18, I eat them raw and undressed. I hate it, but I figure it’s better than a sure fire heart attack or cancer in my 40’s, which was a popular way for the men in that family to go.

I was the odd kid out. I loved spinach, broccoli, and brussels sprouts. Mom never bought canned vegetables, only fresh or frozen.

Didn’t like cauliflower as a child, whether it was raw or cooked. Do like it now.
