It’s really too bad today thaat kids can only operate a remote, not knowing that most TV’s, DVD players and cable boxes all can be operated with its built-in buttons. The only thing is the cable box takes forever to scroll through the myriad of channels contained therein, no shortcuts there.

My boxes do not even have a power switch. When their internal computer “crashes” I need to figure out which plug to pull from the wall outlet.
