Obama has spouted ultra-leftwing nonsense from day one of his 2008 campaign, and if our elections are not rigged by the DNC, the majority of voters bought it.-The problem now is, after seeing the “transformation” O promised, the replacing our original Founders’ creeds and policies with blatant socialistic creeds and policies, how is it possible that the MSM and a large % of poll takers apparently are still buying it???

Actually the statement is completely true.It puts things into perspective though. If today is ‘good’, then holy crap the past was bad..Now we have a few ‘hot spots’ on the planet with stuff like this going on. In the past, it was going on everywhere.

Sorry… just stating published facts rather than an uninformed opinion.Watching the news makes it seem like things are getting worse… but that is an illusion resulting from the media reporting on stuff like this more than they did in the past..The “Human Security Report” published back in 2010:“compiles statistics of conflicts (more than 25 deaths annually) and wars (more than 1,000) around the world. It also analyzes why violent conflicts start and how they end.The upshot is that, over the course of the past five decades, conflicts have become less frequent, less lethal and more likely to be resolved. In the 1950s, for example, the average international conflict killed 21,000 people annually. In the new millennium, that figure is less than 3,000.”

And that’s just the last 50 years. Go back further and things get way worse. In WWII over 40 million civilians were killed. State sanctioned violence was worse all over the world too. Take slavery for example, or religious persecution during the Spanish Inquisition as examples.

All this blather over statistics ignores reality. Islamic extremists hate us and don’t mind killing. I’d be interested in your take on the stats after they kill your wife & kids. So far, have any of you seen a million Muslim man/women march against the violence? Where are the moderate Muslims?

@dzw3030The moderates in the US are all the Muslims that accepted the ‘melting pot’ mentality and assimilated into regular American culture. You don’t hear from them because they are average every-day people and don’t do anything extraordinary (good or bad).

Not all Muslims are bad or evil. That being said, many are extremists, and you most certainly should be concerned about them.
