Hmm, is “Red Man” tobacco an effort to get even????

Have you actually polled “the majority of American Indians,” or are you deciding that for them?

Hogwash. I am Blackfoot and I like the logo. It is one of the few remaining mainstream reminders of Native Americans. The Washington Redskins, Atlanta Braves, Florida Seminoles, etc., all of them remind Americans that there were already a lot of people here when the Europeans landed.Trying to get rid of all such names is cultural genocide. Pretty soon we won’t even be a footnote in a history book. We’ll disappear from mainstream America and be forgotten.

I haven’t heard of too many Indians that are upset by the name. You ask most and they don’t care. That of course is from a poll of them that I have done.

Now if you feel that we aren’t allowed to do something because some people will get upset or be offended by it fine. That would mean we would have to stop Obamacare and all the entitlement programs. We would have to do away with the Fed and the IRS. I mean I can find a lot more people offened by those things then Indians over the name Redskins.

To be accurate, the man on the left should wear a shirt saying “White Liberal Looking to Feel Better About Himself.”
