The opening scenes of “Saving Private Ryan” were controversial because the gave folks a hint of what really happens to troops in war, then showed the sacrifice necessary to rescue just one man.

The hatred for Obama has dominated the perspective of the right, the very folks who weeks ago were demanding we rescue Bergdahl, then praised his release, for a few hours, until it became necessary to again go back to hating Obama. Bergdahl actually didn’t even enter into their thoughts and intent.

Yeah, right, there’s no “haters” on the right, Cubie.

De_Faulto: From the evidence of now no longer secret briefings, Congress has been notified for the last two years, at least.

in the video the taliban made it sure didn’t look like bergdahl was at death’s door, more like coming down from some prime stuff.

As just one example: check out John McCain’s statements regarding the swap of one for five, well known at the time, incuding the names of the five, on February 18,2014, then his post release statements. John was merely noting back then the deal was okay, not necessarily a scream for release, but others were.

I don’t “hate folks” btw, but I AM allergic to stupidity, and tend to sneeze a lot around this current batch of ALLEGED Republicans.

“…..You know the one Obama was yanked off the golf course for a photo op in the corner. While the big boys, who followed GW legacy….”.The ease that some people are able to fabricate and lie their own narrative is just astonishing.

People I’ve disagreed with, and actually contacted my members of Congress about: Obama, Boxer, Feinstein, Bush(all of them), McCain, Walden, Wyden, Merkely, Cruz, Coburn, Inhofe, and the list goes on. . .

People I’ve supported at times, Obama, Boxer, McCain, Walden, Wyden, and sorry, can’t come up with any of the rightest wing heroes of the right today, as they’re NOT true Republicans anymore, and while much of Ike did was good, he too screwed up, like not kicking “Tail gunner Joe” in the buttocks, and not supporting the Hungarians in THEIR revolution (a friend of the family was one of those freedom fighters who survived and emigrated).

I’m sick of the “worshipper” idiocy coming from the right, when they simultaneously bow to the alter of their great god “Ron the Reagan”. Nope, Iran/Contra never happened, and of course those 300,000 Cubans, Russians, and maybe Martians too, who threatened our medical students who were already safely stashed away in Grenada really demanded our going to war!!
