You can dissect a frog but you can’t dissect objects.

Now with the bagless vacs, this scenario happens unless you open the trap right down inside a trashbag.

Linus is going to be a surgeon, too. Maybe they can team up. One doctor with a stuffed animal, and the other with a security blanket.

Reminds me of my childhood. Bad clocks and flashlights didn’t go to hell, they were given to me as gifts. Did well, tho, as a fixer of things in my career.

reminds me of some parents who wouldn’t let their kids take typing in school. those kids are now very proficient on their smartphones, but keyboards typing is less than 10 wpm. but, then again those same parents will dress up their kids in the worst fashions. brown corduroy pants? same parents who say video games will rot your brain, but they spend $500 on candy crush per week and is ok when their kids make an app.

Calvin and his pet tiger Hobbes are disassembling mother’s vacuum cleaner. Mother is incredulous that a boy like Calvin would do such a thing! Calvin’s dad went on a bike ride and Hobbes wondered how anyone could learn surgery.

That was always my problem — I could dissect the frogs, just couldn’t put them back together again!

Sorry, Calvin. You’ll have to wait until you’re older.

Speaking from experience – This kind of dissection leads to engineering not medical school.

If she didn’t want him to take it apart, she shouldn’t have left it where he could get to it. A house that has a “Calvin” needs to child proof every cabinet and closet door, and especially lock the car, unless you want to tow it out of a ditch.

Actually, Calvin, doing surgery on a vacuum bag can be a Bit Messy…something a budding surgeon would Never do! Maybe you should think of another career…say, Engineering (nah, that calls for some serious knowledge of Math!). I’m sure you will eventually choose the right career path for yourself, say Independent Master of All Trades?! ;)
