BFF…will you still feel this way about Hobbes when you grow out of the stuffed-animal phase, Calvin? Or will you put him in a chest somewhere and take him out every once in a while and reminisce? :)

He doesn’t have to be hilarious every day. Sometimes cute is as close as you can get.It must be tough to come up with new ideas every day for a strip. I know I couldn’t.

I’m 80. And, Coco is still with me—-thru everything, to the end!

Someone posted a story about Calvin, after a long life. His wife (three guesses who!) brought Hobbes to him and left the room. They spoke and he then passed on Hobbes to his granddaughter. As Calvin closed his eyes, Hobbes spoke to Calvin for the last time and promised to take care of her.

With a friend like Hobbes, you find no better one!!

What a wonderful sound the “crunch” by eating a toast is!!

Calvin and his pet tiger Hobbes are best friends forever! They want to toast to it, and they literally eat toast.

They’re toasting each other by eating a piece of toast…

Best kind of “toast” there is. No spilling of wine, no annoying clinking of glasses……..
