Not a bad slogan, really. But it’s hard to avoid doing stupid stuff when you have the self-described “stupid party” able and willing to derail any program that might help America.
So…because Dubya could bluff people into believing his lies, that makes him a good president? No. It makes him a good snake oil salesman, but a lousy president. And I can think of 4400 families who would agree.
“Don’t do stupid s—-” is crudely put, but it at least makes sense. Still better than Dubya’s mantra: “Start pointless wars so Draft-dodger Cheney can get rich selling the oil. Heh, heh, heh.”
Harley hound dog: the Cheney/Rumsfeld/ W vendetta against Saddam got over a quarter million people killed, including ever, single, one, of our troops lost in Afghanistan and Iraq. They started a false war, that millions around the world (including myself) protested. The did NOT follow the war powers act and go back to Congress as it required, before launching the attack which they did NOT have carte blanche to start. So back off on the Bergdahl exchange, which was far more time sensitive, perhaps a sound step in getting us out of Afghanistan.
^Afghanistan attacked us on 9/11, another lie. (and they didn’t know where bin Laden was any more than the “bushies” did) If you wanted accuracy back then, we should have attacked Saudi Arabia, they knew where a lot more of bin Laden’s clan were than the Taliban did.
“Sadly, Obama IS veering close to the shrub’s level of total incompetence and buffoonery.”.Do you suppose it might be partially a result of keeping so many republicans from the prior admin?
George W. Bush was a good president. He honored his campaign promises as far as circumstances allowed him, he attempted to work with Democrats even as they villified him, and he was sincere to our allies and respectful to our soldiers. I did not agree with everything that he did but I do not regret voting for him.

And it’s only taken him 5 years to figure that out. Maybe in another two he’ll actually find a way not to…

Rubbish. Terrorists got us into war. And if you look a little deeper, you might discover that liberalism was the cause of the recession.

You would just leave Bowe Bergdahl there, huh? To make a point?
