At least give something to the Vet, outside the store, collecting for his fellow Vets.

My local discount store had a large display of printed American flags stapled to sticks to place out at cemeteries. The label didn’t specify what country they were made in. Yeah, I want to honor my ancestors with American flags made in China as cheaply as possible.

Youths in ‘Happy’ Video Find Iran’s Grip on Internet Is Still TightBy RICK GLADSTONEMAY 21, 2014

Six young Iranians who were arrested for posting a YouTube video of themselves dancing on Tehran rooftops to “Happy,” the globally infectious pop song, were released on bail on Wednesday as new details emerged of their possible mistreatment while incarcerated amid an outpouring of sympathy — including a subtly supportive Twitter post from Iran’s president.

The arrests of the six, who are all under 25 and include women not wearing their mandatory headscarves, were carried out over the weekend. They were taken into custody just as the president, Hassan Rouhani, was giving a speech arguing that Iranians should embrace the Internet instead of viewing it as an insidious Western threat to Islamic morals.

^Grenada, Panama, Dominican Republic, Timur, and so many of our incursions, many the public never heard about-some still classified, too many books for most stores to shelve, as so few would care to browse, let alone buy, them.

For a taste of what our fathers endured in WWII, Google “Taffy Three” and The US Army’s “26th Cavalry”. Those two actions don’t get the attention they deserve. Everything we, in the US, enjoy is because of our Military’s efforts. Never forget their sacrifices.

Military families appreciate Memorial Day and Veterans Day because they understand what these days stand for more than other families that never served.
