I miss going bare foot, when I was young we seldom wore shoes in the summer, not I wear them most all the time. Lately I have taken to going bare foot in the house but never outside, my feet are too tender from to many years of wearing shoes all the time.
Used to go barefoot all summer as a kid in CA – and learned to stay on the painted lines when crossing streets. I live in AZ now and barefoot just isn’t an option outside.
Went barefoot when younger, two summers in a row stepped on bees. Now only places I go barefoot are in shower and in bed otherwise both feet are covered. Wish more people were like me—believe you me there are some ugly feet in this world ! ! ! !
Go barefoot even now pretty much inside—or flipflops. My mom really didn’t let us go outside barefoot (the bee story) except when under the sprinkler. Of course, that’s when my sister stepped into the fire ant nest (poor girl). Not that shoes would have done her any good then!

Maybe he has ten toes— seven on one foot and three on the other!

So the moral is: Summer – when wearing useless footwear is okay?

In Florida, flip flops are worn every month

I loved going barefoot in the Midwest and then I moved to Texas – fire ants.

To ather: I thought she was just yelling “hey, I’m here”. Lucy needed last minute diaper change so she was late.
