Implementing programs that strengthen America’s productive capacity (infrastructure, education, research) that put people back to work, reforming the tax code, and reducing income disparity will do far more to restore family stability than some continuous nonsensical rant about socialism.

My take is that government aid programs and policies tend to encourage single-parent families and rewards for additional children. Kick the baby-daddy to the curb (collect child support, of course) and get preggers with a different guy, repeat as needed … This has became a life-style choice for many women.
Actually, dad’s on his way out the door to his third minimum wage job he has to have to survive in their local economy, as in the rich are raking it in, and the people cleaning up after them are broke.
trying to blame the breakup of the family on “gaps”..shows that you have bought into the progressive talking points…if YOU WANT to be among the “bosses” of the world …frigging GO FOR IT….don’t sit around and blame “gaps” caused buy others for your position.
Exit Stage Right…the kids don’t realize it yet, but their father has just left the family for a younger woman. As soon as they get pregnant, the “first” family will be a long-forgotten and pushed aside “nightmare.” It Does happen. Then, the so-called father will make sure he disappears so he won’t have to play child-support… ;P
… meanwhile, some Grinch is making it even harder for the kid by trying to take away his health insurance and his food stamps, while refusing to raise the minimum wage so his single mom can afford to be home at least some of the time instead of working two or three job to remain in poverty.
Only if the next cartoon is the blackened aftermath of a lightning strike, since God really, really wants people to stay in horrible, loveless, misguided marriages. Children are much happier when Mommy and Daddy scream at each other and can’t sit down to a quiet meal or go do things as a family.
