@Jase99: why is it that you don’t see any possible action short of going to war. You want to do nothing, which is what created WWII and WWII. we can not simply ignore Europe and hope for the best.
This commentator is disappointed that Halliburton senior executives will get only a moderately obscene bonus this year and there are no Americans dying in the Ukraine? Plus Western Europe has a continuing supply of natural gas and the time to obtain a more secure route?
Oh, because the Russians were so terrified of Bush that they only invaded Georgia, not Ukraine. .There’s a reason Faux News does well, and it’s not because their viewers have an attention span of more than six months, or IQs in three figures.
Great lefty Kool Aid talking points..“it must be the Obama Administration that has attempted – some 50+ times now (!) – to repeal one of the better attempts at providing Insurance for major health-care problems;”.Better? Numbers were over 5 million people that LOST their insurance due to this “better attempt”, with 7 million signing up. Hardly worth the damage. One of my friends had to sign up for the lower cost Ocare and cannot find someone who accepts the plan. Seems like that solution is worse than the problem it tried to fix. Needless to say how many are paying into it, nor how many have actually been able to get medical care with it..“seeing as how we’ve gone from an unemployment figure of over 12% DOWN to something closer to about 6.5% over the years”.Before you continue chanting your praise to Obama, if you look at the labor department’s labor force participation is down so people are either being dropped off unemployment rolls because they can’t find a job or jumped on the public dole. So while unemployment is down, labor force participation is down, as a matter of fact if you look at the department of labor website (data since 2004) the LPR keeps dropping under this president, which means fewer people working. While you CAN blame the Republicans, the LPR number has been in a downward trend EVEN WITH the Democrats owning both houses during his first 2 years.

Are we to assume Ariail wants us to send troops to Ukraine to confront the Russian army?
