Sentimental value makes stuff very “sticky”.

We had to downsize our stuff not enough house. Daughter’s guy now use garage to work on lawnmowers. Wish I could have car in garage but garage not that big. Daughter’s car is in we cannot afford to pay for sunroof.

One of the problems (which Val doesn’t have yet/again) is that my wife only wants to throw my stuff out, and I only want to throw her stuff out. So, nothing much gets gone until one of us kicks.

Wait until your parents die off. My brother saved whatever he could get me to move in his garage(trash, 95% of it) and then his wife’s father died.Child protective services ended up out there because there was no room for the kids.

Having two growing children and not liking to throw out usable stuff just because kids outgrew it causes a lot of… stuff.
