Sterling is a known slumlord who caused outrage because he didn’t want his mistress to publicize pictures taken with black guys. The public outrage should have occurred years ago when people first knew how he made his money.
When the first Watts riot took place, my white great uncle’s black neighbors sat around his house for several days to protect him from the rioters, who they identified as “outsiders come in to loot and start trouble”. When one sees folks display “Man’s humanity toward their fellow man”, it makes you question why so many Americans are willing to accept “Man’s INhumanity to Man”.
