Another outsider. That seems good. Where did they get Him? and him saying “food for outsiders” indicates there may be others, or else they do get travelers.

So, um, a giant lizard, a grizzled tomcat, a fierce mouse and a raccoon walk into a bar. Dondi, the chicken, comes over and says: “Welcome folks, we have a special for new guests. So, how do you feel about recycling?” The alpha female, the giant lizard, says: “Leftovers again? You wouldn’t believe how tired I am of leftovers.” Vote, please. Anyone up for bad haiku?

Hey, it’s a new month, and they’ve reset the counter at TopWebComics(TWC), so we all oughta get over there and vote early and often. I first noticed the voting when Level_Head recommended voting and reading Doc Rat. Both were good suggestions, thanks, Level_Head. I highly recommend voting as much as you can, and today I provided the links in an earlier threat, ahem, I mean post. After voting you can just click on a banner at TWC to read Doc Rat, or any other strip. And Doc Rat also has a forum. After reading the strip, you can jusscroll down the page and click on the picture of Jenner voting for Endtown, and that will take you to his forum at the CrossTimeCafe, where there are also some other strips you might like. Thanks, JusSayin

Outsiders, it’s what’s for dinner!Since they are lizards, possibly not herbivores. They will need a handy source of protein.. our heroes.Perhaps that pound of flesh I mentioned a few days ago, is going to become a side of Wally, Holly and Jim, at $2.99 a pound! The lizards probably won’t eat the kid either because they hate washing dishes or perhaps beaks and claws scratch as they are being swallowed whole.Given the fact they are not an integrated society, the lack of mammals, (the kid is a bird, so he is not a mammal, just a warm blooded reptile, so they sort of accept him.)

I have heard Sarah referred to as monitor lizard or komodo dragon. Actually, the komodo dragon is the largest of the monitor lizards

I wonder if he and the rest of the “outsiders” are some form of slave class. People passing through incur some form of debt and are forced into indentured servitude to work said debt off.

Just a thought … What if the lizard folk AREN’T mutants? We’ve never seen this many of a single species before (except rats). If everyone who isn’t a lizard is “his kind” (Dondi) that implies the lizards are a different “kind” from any of the mutants. We know Sarah is a mutant, but the lizards seem to relate to her as if they think she might be one of “their kind”. Gee, I’m so far out on this limb that I can’t see the tree anymore… Oh well, just a thought…. ;-)

Apologies for reading like such a phony scammer, or something, when promoting voting. I am so tired, we need to get someone else to post voting links and share the joy. Especially tonight, as we are in a new month, and going into a weekend. No real idea what Dondi’s real name is, for some reason the kid caused me to think of Dondi, from 50 or so years ago. But, the class got Pagelow to kind of accept that BuniDog was gonna be called Dogi. But that strip has no words. We couldn’t change the Mouse’s name at Over The Hedge. Both Buni and Over The Hedge are right here at gocomics, for your reading pleasure.

Dadof3 and Darwinskeeper and others raise quite good points about these reptilians being quite diffferent from previous mutants. “New blood, I see” … “In more ways than one.” …

Say, there wouldn’t be a brave and intelligent teenaged reptilian about to run on his first hunt, would there? Nah. Respectfully, JusSayin

Someone suggested that they mutate into whatever animal gene was floating in the air and entered into their body first, that would suggest two people next to each other would most likely mutate into the same animal. Which we domt see happening…..until now. How are there so many of the same kind? Like, hundreds! The only answer is, there is no answer and these events are up the whim of the artist and creator, AARON!
