    As an expat Brit over here, I’d settle for either party being as far

      left as the Tory Party…. under Thatcher!

    Totally agree. Contrast Obama with, say, the Green Party. He’s a corporate-friendly centrist, period. I find it hilarious when people think he is a Marxist or socialist — clearly not knowing the definition of either — let alone leftist, when Teddy Roosevelt was far more left than Obama is.
