The main reason deportation numbers are high is because enforcement at the border is so much better. 64% of the deportations in 2013 were at the border. 33% of those deported had at least one felony under their belts. The real injustice are those undocumented people who have been here for years yet live everyday in fear they will be deported.
Amnesty is bad for America! Businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants to pay them below minimum wage for working in deplorable conditions might find their cheap expendable labor dry up. They’d be forced to send those jobs to China, where they can continue cheating and mistreating employees without fear of reprisal.

The bipartisan (yes, that’s bi-partisan as in both parties, Democratic AND Republican) immigration reform that has already passed the senate will LOWER the deficit, INCREASE jobs, INCREASE security, and treat both Americans and immigrants fairly and with a small amount of respect. That’s why it would pass if Boehner brought it up for a vote, which is why he’s scared of doing it.
One more time: If you want fewer illegals, prevent businesses from hiring them. -Republicans/Fox “news” viewers, of course, prefer the status quo. While businesses hire illegals for cheap labor, Fox “news” gets to express hatred for Obama over illegals being in the country.
