You’re absolutely right, Overtaxed. the people who voted for Obama want a government that takes care of them, cradle to grave. They don’t want any control or responsibility for their lives, they want to live their lives being told what to do and when. They don’t want to have to think for themselves.
I will state for the record that I am sorely disappointed in many aspects of the Obama administration. I expected better. Having said that, I am still convinced that either/both Mr. Romney/Mr. McCain would have had a far worse effect on both our country and the world. When the Republican party runs a decent candidate, the Republican party will win that election. I look forward to the day that I am presented with a decent choice.
Two weeks ago, I sent John Boehner some comments about the dificulties of not just long-term unemployed, but everyone out there who is trying to find a job. (www.speaker.gov/contact) Well, his office got my Email, and EVERY DAY now I am receiving notes and videos from his office about the GOP platform, rants against the president and accusations against the Democrats. It is all NEGATIVE. No ideas, no positive, thought-out proposals, and most vividly in its absence, no offers of cooperative debate. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then……..
Carter’s problem was his attitude towards Congress. He simply was a weak prez, but I do give him credit for Camp David. Obama spends too much time on things that divide us.

This is a Rorschach test cartoon—its meaning is whatever your opinion is. Fairly brilliant, actually.
