B***sh*t. Show me where the same person is getting less money for the same job..Or did conservatives just change their mind and decide we should have hiring quotas to get the right balance of gender, race, etc? Is that it, Henry?

G.S. rules spell out salaries for employees on the schedule, by job description, not gender. “Schedule C” political appointees have a pay schedule, and likewise gender doesn’t set salary. However, during the Bush 41 period, a simple secretary (typing and opening mail type) left her White House Schedule C job to be politically appointed to a high position in a federal agency, subject to that agency’s Senior Executive (gender free) pay scale. In a short period, she quit that position and went back to the White House mail opening job, as it paid more, and she didn’t have know what she was doing back there. I love the way folks who know nothing about the system feel free to complain about its use.
