A girl once broke up with me because I would never be able to provide her a house with dormer windows. (To be fair, I led her on to believe that I was a medical student.) My high school girlfriend said she would leave her husband and come live with me if I owned a house with dormer windows. Why in sam heck do women like dormer windows so much? Better question is why are women so shallow and materialistic, but I don’t think men are any deeper and abstemious.
I grew up in a farmhouse that had a dormer window……my bedroom was on the east side of that window creating a slope to the ceiling on that side……made one whole side of the room dangerous…..unless you were less than 5 feet tall. I was nearing 5’ 6" so I had a headache for a few years. DUCK!……as for the snails…..they were slow….on the uptake.
