If the suffix is “inc.”, it isn’t a church (we’ll overlook the churches that make pretty good money off their business operations for now) and discrimination based on religion is prohibited. Yes, I know, fundamentalist Christians in large part don’t buy the separation of church and state the founding fathers commented many times upon, regarding that First Amendment, and Article Six.

Just remember, if you work for a company owned by Jehovah’s Witnesses, they don’t have to cover blood transfusions in your health care plan. And the Christian Scientist owned company offers full coverage of all the prayers for healing that you will ever need.(they will listen to appeals for further coverage in individual cases, but…)And don’t ask what the coverage is from a company owned by Scientologists.

“As opposed to your definition of “separation” wherein those who will not convert to atheism are prohibited from holding public office or owning businesses.”What a pile of cow chips. I don’t care what politicians and business owners believe in, just as long as they don’t insist I believe as they do. It’s none of their business how I conduct my life anymore than it’s my business how they conduct theirs.

If employees of Hobby Lobby and Conestoga don’t like the insurance plans their employers offer they can always quit. No one makes them work there.

History shows the agenda of the right has always been to force feed their ideas on the populace…The Crusades, Spanish Inquisition were just two of many. Now they use lobbyists and the SCOTUS

Are you saying that the employees of Hobby Lobby has no need of birth control. It is not Hobby Lobby not wanting to pay for birth control it is Hobby Lobby does not want their employees to have sex.

The Founding Fathers did not want a national church. That’s why the First Amendment states Congress shall make no law…Somehow that has been expanded beyond belief.

The Constitution is our basis for law, not Leviticus. If the latter was our current example of a law text, Hobby Lobby would lose a lot of customers, what with all that “kill the offender” set of laws, kids wouldn’t be around as this “me” generation would be offed for sassing their mommy or daddy by the age of seven.
