English is not my other half’s native language. One day when our cat was sitting in a cardboard box someone had sent me (with stuff in it, of course), OH remarked, “Oh, good now we have a cat house.” Had to explain why that wasn’t a good choice of words, but it took me a while to stop laughing!

I remember when your groceries came home in large paper bags. The cat would charge head-first into the bag, over and over again. Sigh…..good times.
