It is interesting to note that Obama, a Progressive Democrat since becoming President has:.Made poverty a growth industry..Has lowered the median US household income average 4.7%..Has had the lowest employment / highest unemployment rates since the 1950’s..Has increased the gap between rich and poor to its highest level in decades..Basically, by giving handouts and increasing government Obama has done exactly the opposite of what he claims to be trying to do. Yet, Progressives want to blame all this on the Republicans….
The idea that welfare and health care lead to dependence is not based on any actual evidence. It’s just an excuse to try to balance the budget on the backs of the poor, because the rich are too powerful.
I haven’t lived in the US for more than twenty years now, so I don’t know what the welfare system is like these days. Could someone give me a rundown, or perhaps a good link that summarizes the situation? Personally, I would prefer a system that gets people working (while accepting that some few people really can’t work). My hunch is that capitalism is not able to provide decent jobs for everyone.
It is interesting that Bennett didn’t look at the house and the senate. There are more minorities represented in the Republican party than in the DemoTAXocrat party. Check it out.
Therefore, Bennett is showing his stupidity and racism again.
