Offensive to people from India? Offensive to a white man who dates and Indian? Offensive to the Cleveland Indians?

It’s hard to bluff in Indian Poker.

Meg must totally take after her father cause she doesn’t look anything like her mother anymore like in earlier strips.

There’s something poignant about Meg’s last comment. I read it like “I may look OK with all this but I’m really not.” That girl needs a hug at the very least.

When I was a kid, we always called it “blind man’s buff.”

Sure enough, Wikipedia says, “Blind man’s buff or blind man’s bluff is a children’s game, a variant of tag. The traditional name of the game is ‘blind man’s buff,’ wherein the word buff is used in its older sense of a small push. The game later also became known as ‘blind man’s bluff’; it is possible that this name is a linguistic corruption.”

Mom is direct, the kid….not so much

I think it’s cute.

I know many commenters have complained about having Gene, Mary Lou, and Meg so much lately and want to get back to A & J, but I’d like to say that I have really enjoyed them. Nice to have the “younger” storyline for a while, but I do love A & J, even if I seem to have passed them in age a few years back!

By he way, did Gene ever actually graduate fro college? I must have missed it if he did. Last I remember college being mentioned was he only had one semester left.

WF11, yeah, I like both story lines…..And besides, in my experience, artists have their own vision and aren’t inclind to take advice….. You might as well ask a cat to do something, you’ll get the same result….

Gene graduated from college … two or three years ago? … and they gave a big party at the restaurant. When a crowd of guests had gathered, surprise — a wedding ceremony for Gene and Mary Lou! Arlo and Janis had come down to the coast for the party and they were as surprised as anybody. Am I remembering this correctly? Help me out, you old-timers.
