We had a six alarm fire, 125 trucks, 3 aerial trucks in a foam mattress factory just a couple of blocks away from my building yesterday. I missed most of the excitement (no one was hurt, thankfully) because I went to the office just as the trucks started rolling out. I knew it was huge though, from the amount of trucks coming from all directions.
The county and organizations are setting up funding, housing, assistance, etc. for the families. Back in the day, I spent a LOT of time up there on the Hill, had many friends from Catholic School and High School who lived up on the Hill. The only ones who lived on that particular street were brothers we knew from grade school and they moved to the South end but I know their old original homestead was burnt, John sadly died in January, and his bro has lived in South Bend for years now, works for the ND Fighting Irish Football team, which I know means nothing to our SHIKA! :-)

This month has been all about rain. We are close to setting an all time record for the month and it is pouring today.

Good afternoon Locos!
Started out rainy, sunny and 50 degrees here.

Yes, Baldo, I would guess that would be the going rate on a Chevette these days. Used to own one though. Ran good, family outgrew it,

Hola Locos. I think Baldo has his head in the clouds if he thinks he can get a car that easily.

The fire was in the factory. The trucks were outside. Poor punctuation on my part. ;-)
