If only they could build a Keystone pipeline carrying all that melted snow to the Southwest.Democrats would block that too because it infringes on rattlesnakes.

Arizona is doing fine on water unlike California. Arizona has made tremendous efforts at collection and storage of water whereas California tore down most of their dams, has done little to build storage capacity and for decades relied on surplus water from Arizona and Nevada instead.California brought their problems on themselves through short-sighted Progressive Leftist policies that their neighbors avoided.Give it a few years and the weather patterns will shift again. It was just a decade or so ago that there was an “endless” withering drought in the South. Now they are awash in water. If far less of the Western US was in federal hands there would probably be far less of a problem with… well everything than there is now.

Tigger, please pay attention when we post NUMEROUS links to explain why your “logic” does not square with the facts. Here’s the bottom line: We ARE getting less cold weather overall. Here’s proof, in terms of decreasing number of “really cold” days relative to different cities:http://www.climatecentral.org/news/extreme-cold-events-in-a-climate-context-16931#citiesAs for snow: A warming climate means warmer air on average. Warmer air can hold more moisture. That means:1. Fewer snow days, because there are fewer days cold enough to snow, but2. More snow when it does fall, because the air is moister, meaning there is more water to become snow. This is exactly what we got this year. No one year is sufficient evidence, of course, but this is the trend overall in any case.

“We have been going through ’Climate Change 4 times per year for hundreds of years.”And, we still have to listen to lectures on the difference between “climate change” & weather!
