I guess nobody knows the Russian Black sea fleet already had a port. He could have fired a lot of shots but didn’t. He violated international law but the US frequently does that too. It was a clever move so far and probably will yield to a diplomatic solution. They are just wrangling over the terms.

Actually, by destabilizing Ukraine and promoting conflict with Russia, neo-conservatives like Victoria Nuland may be furthering their goal of war with Iran and Syria. This looks somewhat like their war-mongering over Iraq.
