It mustn’t be too, too cold out as Lizzie has opened the window to continue “tormenting” her brother. For once, she has the advantage (seeing as how Michael must lord it over her 98% of the time), and Michael doesn’t know how to handle that! I don’t know why he’s crying though… ;)

My Mom would always let me and my sister have friends in the house at once…it was two friends per person

Thank you everyone from yesterday that enjoys cooking – I laughed when I got home from work and read the comments (with my glass of wine).

I had a baby sister like that — it was soooo annoying! So was the “you’re too old to let her get to you” thing! My mom would never even scold her for tormenting me, so I’d slug her when I got the chance. It was worth the trouble I’d get into….

Well, at least he realizes it. That’s the first step. Now the second step is harder… to do the right thing about it.

No, she’s ‘got’ (taken away) the best of you, Michael, so what YOU’RE left with is the worst of you.

Just ignore her, Michael. You’ll grow out of it! LOL

When I was a kid there was a guy in my neighborhood who was being teased by his little brother just like that, except the window was closed. His solution was to punch his little brother right through the glass. Luckily Michael isn’t a total psycho.

@ Suzanne: you said yesterday: “My God, people it’s a comic gag”

I know that, and I bet most readers do too.

I think the fun of it all is that this strip is so personal to many because it is based on real life observations, as a result it brings back memories. It does for me, anyway. I don’t, however, mistake the character of Elly with real life Lynn, the author.
