One reason I agreed to buy a 100-year-old fixer-upper house was the huge trumpet vine growing up a tree and trailing over the side porch. Guess what my 6-year-old did when we were out cleaning up the yard… in spite of strict instructions to leave the clippers alone.

My daughter used to do that, and so did my grandson

    Trumpet vines are seriously indestructible.

Now, now — it’s the thought that counts. You’re seriously advocating beating a child for doing what she thought was a good deed?

It’s the thought that counts. Should you punish her for her generosity?

Its the thought that counts. Unless its a Juliet rose which costs $5million. She could have stolen it from a mansion

I keep seeing a commercial for Bounty paper towels where the older brother is making his little brother laugh by blowing bubbles through the straw in his chocolate milk. It’s on the table & dripping onto the floor. The mom just smiles. I so want to paddle him. The whole deal with doing the straw was to try to get it high, but not over the edge.

Words cannot describe your overreaction to a child’s gift to her mommy.

Didn’t Michael get shouted at for stealing Mrs. Baird’s flowers?

Hmm, so will a future storyline have Michael bring flowers to a date with Martha, and when she asks where he got them he will say “Well, I got sort of got them at the funeral parlor from Mrs. Baird’s casket” ha ha
