Dilemma? Mystery – Enigma?

Definitely not a dilemma. That’s when you have to choose between two bad alternatives. This is a mystery, a conundrum, an enigma, or maybe a puzzlement, but not a dilemma.

Sort of reminds me of the movie, “Something about Mary.”

Reasonable to think someone must, but undesirable to consider either of them might be guilty.Enter a third choice and the dilemma dissolves under the numbers being greater than two.(Yes, I had to twist to get this solution, but I’m trying to protect the artist.)
