The mouldy bread bit isn’t as daft as it sounds. Many moulds that grow on bread are penicillium strains.

I’m not sure about the configuration of the helicopter in this picture but I remember seeing a small single seat helicopter at the NASA museum in Washington DC.

Penicillin was originally developed when a mine collapsed causing injuries. One wound was infected so badly it was guaranteed to develop gangrene. The doctor thought nothing could be done but an old woman brought some green moldy bread and told them to bind it to the wound. The doctor was so amazed that he investigated the bread and developed Penicillin from it. One of, if not the actual first antibiotic. .That’s why green bread mold is actually cultivated in technologically primitive cultures. Like today, early doctors scoffed at the old ways, but Dr Alexander Fleming took a chance and made the discovery that the old ways actually work. Not all of them admittedly (leeches) but most of them.

Egyptians were better at medicine than our ancestors in Europe during the Dark Ages. (Thousand or so years later!)

Let’s see. 26.2 miles times 622 = abot 16,300 miles, all right; but the earth is about 25,000 in circumference! Where did he run?
