They DID make “Friends” for the present day. Except instead of Facebook addicts, their characters are mostly academics with diverse interests and personalities. And with its latest renewal, it will run at least as many seasons as the older series. Way funnier too, especially since Courtney Cox wouldn’t have been able to pull off a good “Bazinga!”
