Boehner’s ability to deal with the Tea Party and his ability to catch a flying elephant and just about equal. Speaker of the house is the second hardest job in DC, and that’s when you are dealing with rational human beings. Dealing with the Tea Party and their conservative media bubble induced delusions makes it simply impossible.

www.breitbart.com“Sticker Shock: National Debt to Rise to $18.2 Trillion”By the date of the just-passed legislation, these Debt “geniuses” will have put the American citizens $1 Trillion deeper into the budgeted Debt.-The so-called “Debt Limit” never once has “limited” national debt. The Liberals in the Democratic Party and in the MSM have propagated a MYTH that if the date passes and spending continues the US government goes into “default”…NOT. And the artificial Bubble of non-stop spending and rising debt plus the last 5-1/2 years of printing Monopoly money that only infuses the Stock Market with phony “gains” will burst and make 1929’s Depression look like “good times”

Even though it was for the party and not for America, kudos for rejecting teabagger madness this time around. Still the WORST. SPEAKER. EVER.

The recession was something that began under the administration preceding Obama’s. So, now the opposition criticizes Obama for not fixing it, while doing everything they can to prevent him from fixing it. It beggars the imagination.

Want to fix the nation’s debts? Cut spending, not just programs for the poor and the middle classes. Raise revenues, by taxing those who have made out so very well during the last 30 years.

Give tax breaks only to job creators who actually create jobs in America. Reward their patriotism, the patriotism that chooses smaller profits in the name of making America’s economy (and therefore America) stronger. The economy would take off, and the debt would melt away if spending is kept in line. (Which I believe is a challenge for both parties.)

@motivemagus….the “Clinton trend to balancing the budget” was forced on him by the GOP in congress.-GW had a 2001 Terrorist War to fund. Or would you prefer ignoring 9/11/01….?-@piobaire….the 2008 recession was officially declared ended in June 2009. The economic data shows America was better under Bush than under Obama….Jobs, wages, number of workers in the labor force able to find and hold jobs…the federal DEBT has skyrocketed with no end to $trillion deficits in sight.-@Morty-Tyrant…..I am an elderly great-grandmother, not a “guy”…..Did you read the Breitbart news article? It uses government numbers and estimates! (the Democrat Prez and Senate government)!
