Because being stabbed or bludgeoned to death is so superior to being shot….

You wrote: “the only people in Great Britain that have firearms are the criminals, and the government.”Sigh. If you look at the gun homicide rates between the UK and the US, ours were 3.6 per 100,000 in 2011; the UK had only .04 per 100,000 in 2010.To put it another way, an American is NINETY TIMES MORE LIKELY to die by gun homicide than his British counterpart. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

Not an insult; an observation. Ancedote is not evidence.

“If the retired cop had a knife instead of a gun…” The victim would have been stabbed, same result.

I have heard that California passed a law requiring a microstamp on newly sold firearms. A microstamp is essentially a serial number that transfers the ID to spent casings. In response, Smith & Wesson won’t sell in California.-Maybe the gun violence advocates on these boards can explain how a microstamp is an infringement on the right to keep and bear arms.

Under Florida rules, Orval Reddenbacher would have been shot to death, anyone with a car stereo is a target, and don’t you dare be so criminal as to walk home with skittles and iced tea!

The problem isn’t that people in the US have too many guns, the problem is that people in the US are out of control.

These headstones were gathered from all over the place to make this shot. Concerned families are crying to have the media return the headstones of their beloved deceased.

Trayvon was a big dude at 5’ 11’ and he wasn’t going to take nothing from a “white” Hisp. Trayvon got what he deserved. He was no 13 yr little boy eating skittles. And, you do Not call a black 6’ footer a Boy.
