Are any of you people reading the actual report or just parroting Rush?People are not lazing about; they are reducing their NUMBER OF JOBS because their healthcare costs have declined through Obamacare. So they can devote that extra time to personal life — family? Remember? What the GOP claims to value more than anything else — when it comes to gay marriage?Or they can be an entrepreneur in your spare time, as Ms. Sorensen points out, which adds to the economy.Or elderly people can actually retire, as they had worked for the first fifty years of their lives.People are still working hard. But they don’t have to work a second or third job just to pay for healthcare, because costs are down.Note that our healthcare costs were the highest in the entire world (and still are, actually, though going down): 50% higher than the second-place country (the UK). You’d think introducing some more efficiency would please the so-called conservatives.

Oh, yeah, and reducing the number of jobs means that people who couldn’t find one before can now take one of those, reducing unemployment and increasing the number of people working and making money to spend.

Many people are able to live without a paycheck. They have a working member of the family, savings, or whatever. But they are stuck in a job because they need the health insurance. The budget report said that a lot of those people would leave their jobs if they had another option to get insurance. ACA gives them that option. And, their leaving the job they don’t want, which can’t be a bad one if it has health benefits, will leave that job open for someone who needs it.

No, it’s simple math.Three jobs total are availablePerson #1 has all 3 jobsPerson #2 has 0 jobs, can’t find onePerson #1 drops one job because she doesn’t need it anymore just to pay healthcare. Now Person #1 has 2 jobs (3-1 = 2)And Person #2 can apply for the remaining job.Still three jobs, but two people employed instead of one.Get it now?

Good thing. After all Obamacare is fouled up like a soup sandwich. Only the completely, obliviously, insane would want to give the government complete control of the health care system after seeing what a disaster they made of just getting in charge of the parts Obamacare covers.

The ACA won’t lead to universal health care UNLESS IT FAILS, in which case the conservative option has been tried and failed. So the GOP really aren’t thinking long term as they try to undermine it by intentionally harming the poor and hospitals in their own states.
