Several times, to help get people on their feet, and a business owner I know who has since retired hired college students to do odd jobs around his store as encouragement to continue to graduation and earn extra money for incidentals.

Americans have been getting what they deserve from their health care system for a long time paying 80% more than the rest of the g8: the shortest average life span in the OECD (40th in the world) and the highest infant mortality rate in the OECD (33rd in the world). Americans also pay around 10 times as much for drugs as the rest of the OECD.That extra 80% is around $800B that goes to the one percent and would be enough to cover your deficit which is mostly health care related.
