Ramirez is so over the top, he is entering the level of Jon Stewart’s commentary. He is showing the absurdity of the “Death Panel” and conservative fears.
Ramirez gets the facts…YOU need to find and learn the facts.Americans cannot “choose” to change jobs…Jobs don’t exist.Bureau of Labor statistics: 1,154,000 fewer jobs exist today than 6 years ago.January 2008 had 146,378,000 Americans employed.January 2014 has 145,224,000 Americans in a job. That is the civilian work force age 16 and older with employment.-91,455,000 Americans in January 2014 had no job and were not seeking a job, not counted in the nation’s work force.-The new meme from Democrats is: choice of working or not working and choice of “jobs”….is a False Spin for political escape from consequences of 5 years bad Democrat policy.
It’s true. Last January, my employer of 20+ years told me to take a hike. I’ve been “choosing” for the last 12 months. Still waiting for a choice, though.
America has the shortest average life expectancy in the OECD (40th in the world, about the same as Bosnia) and the highest infant mortality rate (33rd, tied with Slovenia). These numbers may be related to pre Obamacare American health insurance. It will be interesting to see if the numbers shift. For the wealthiest country in the world they are quite shameful. If you don’t believe me check out that great source of Commie pinko propaganda, the CIA Factbook.
The stay in your job for insurance ploy only works if your cost does not go from $1100 per month for my wifes employer based plan to over $1650 per month on CA Obamacare. Since my wife and I am over 60 and I have been unemployed since 2009, we do not really have an incentative to retire early until Medicare kicks in. Real world cases are what count.

Why is health insurance in the US tied to employment? What’s the connection? The unemployed don’t get sick?
