All parties need to promote good candidates. It is way too early to be debating 2016 election.

Why are conservatives pushing for Hillary Clinton to run?

I’d just like a good leader. I’m not in love with Clinton. But I will concede she will probably do better than the last two we’ve had. But I agree with Eugene57. It’s too early to start now.

It is interesting that most of the campaigning being done right now seems to be by the Media. The New York Times and Time have I believe run articles about why she should run and how great she is. Really, they’re no better than FOX and it’s right wing slant. The biggest shame in all this to me is that the media has really abandonded any pretense of reporting in an unbiased manner. The Kool Aid Cults are winning.

Usually when a black american enters a new field, they excel with afterburners. Jackie Robinson, George Washington Carver and the Tuskegee airmen come to mind. With our POTUS; while historical, has been compared to Jimmy Carter who while a nice enough guy was a lousy POTUS, like the current one. The damage he has done will take a long time to repair..Hillary is probably the strongest candidate on the left or at least the most adored by the media. Will she be the POTUS her husband was (while not my favorite, better than Obama) or continue the legacy of Obama?.The blue party may become the progressive incompetent party.

Yeah, it’s tough to have a clear winner early in the game, isn’t it? Gosh, it’s almost as unfortunate as finding yourself with a popular incumbent while your opponents get to tear each other to pieces in a primary..Sad, sad situation. Poor little donkey will have to hold the White House for four, maybe even eight, more years.

It will be weird for a Presidential nominee to run unopposed.

^Good people like Christie, McDonnell, Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, Bachmann, Cain, Palin. Or wannabees like Rubio, Paul, and Cruz who are one idiot statement away from oblivion. Hillary must be licking her chops.

“Come on, echoraven, admit to yourself what everyone knows. Your only real problem with Obama is that you are a partisan hack who doesn’t like him because he’s one of “them” (whatever “them” means to you).”.Here are 3 fun facts about me..1. I’m libertarian. Not too fond of kissing the posterior of Big Business, nor fond of a nanny government.2. I’m hispanic. Darker than George Zimmerman, but never shot anybody.3. I voted for Obama the first time..As a military veteran, I liked McCain and considering how much venom the media threw at Sara Palin I knew that she must be both intelligent and a decent human being to go with those breathtaking good looks. The reason I voted for Obama the first time was trifold. He spoke like a fiscal conservative, would have a better chance at helping the country recover from the recession since he had a majority in both houses and being black, I felt he would represent me better than McCain..Why I didn’t vote for him the 2nd time around. Instead of focusing on the financial state of the country (the recession) he focused on his health care bill which has effectively increased the cost of living of every living person except the few that have good jobs with health care and gave smaller businesses excuses to NOT offer health care OR reduce their full time employees to part time. Thanks to the ACA I lose my health care and my wife will lose hers. Not to mention he increased the number of people on public assistance (I’ve seen numbers range from 30% to 50% increase) far more than any other president..On George Washington Carver: he was a scientist in an era where blacks were still relegated to agricultural or roles of servitude and he excelled at his craft. As a hispanic with no one I could relate to in history books he was an idol for most of my childhood..If your looking to find a partisan hack, take a look in the mirror and he’ll be looking right at you.

I think all your responses are still here. If one was removed it wasn’t me. My skin is not that thin..Echoraven was bestowed upon me by the command post of the 2nd Bombardment Wing. My first name begins with “e” so it became “echo” and last name with “r” and it became raven. I’ve liked the sound of that and considering I’m a musician (another fun fact) it sounded cool..The core of libertarianism is that no one’s rights interfere with anyone else. That includes “civil rights”, which is why the official platform is pro choice and pro gay marriage. Don’t know if libertarians were racist in the Jim Crow era, but it changed, as have the Republicans and Democrats. After all compared to Democrats Republicans were far more in favor of the civil rights act than Democrats (at least 80% of Republicans vs. less than 70% of Democrats).

“Absolutely my post (and another one on a different thread) was removed. Just as well for you because it showed you some of your own open wounds. Suffice it to say you said much more about yourself than you think.”.Sorry I missed it.
