Andrew Zimmern would love the smalahove… if he had a “Bizarre Foods” Travel Channel episode in Norway.

I read somewhere that the real gunfight wasn’t actually AT the OK Corral – it was a few blocks down the road. So, does that just show how good shots Wyatt and Morgan Earp were?

As if “swede” wasn’t bizarre … I’ve been told “rutabaga” is derived from Swedish “rotabagge”, which is literally “root bag”, and no less bizarre.

Add a single carrot before mashing, and that’s how my mom makes it. Delicious with mutton in many ways. :)

Audrey must have really liked the way he wiped out the bad guys.

Smalahove? I just lost my appetite.

However, in my opinion, mashed rutabaga is delicious. (and it’s very good for you.)

Wow! That sheep’s head smoking must be a mean buzz… And a meaner munchie!

“Only 30 seconds” of getting shot at is still a very long time.

Think I’ll stick with Canadian bacon pizza with extra cheese. It’s what’s for breakfast!

I just finished a series of books (Master & Commander by Patrick O’Brien) wherein the hero’s favorite dish is Soused Hog’s Face, followed by Dead Baby pudding.

If I were Bronson, I wouldn’t know what to do. I wouldn’t feel right keeping it or declining it. Give it away to yet another stranger?

I have read the series by O’Brien several times now. They and the Hornblower books are great. Also, I love rutabagas, but then I’m from a old farmer family in Iowa.
