dad: whaaa?! whoa!! valentine's day!!? well... i of course have something for you too!!
mom: another valentines day, another interpretive dance.
I haven’t had a Valentine in a few years now and I’m actually okay with it. I’ve realized that it’s okay to be single and date yourself! I’ve learned to dine by myself, go to the movies and stroll completely by myself. Now if I want flowers, I go and buy them. I do realize that the effect is sometimes different, but it’s actually okay…..(smile)
Hubby gave me a heart shaped box of Russell Stover candy. Also gave me a box of Russell Stover candy for Christmas. I’ve told him I don’t like Russell Stover candy but prefer a Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate candy bar or three little Ferrero Roche hazelnut candies. I like dark chocolate, not milk chocolate. I gave the box to my daughter and grandsons.

I was in a grocery store about 8:30 this AM. Men were lined up a the checkouts with flowers.

I don’t see how anyone could forget any holiday. There is so much about it everywhere you look. I guess there are those who are just oblivious.
